FOLLOW ONES OWN HEART....
One of my colleague returned from a 10 day trip from East Africa. He was on a Christmas vacation safari trip to Kenya and other countries. He is in late twenties enjoys traveling. He puts up a very good score in his professional life, works hard and once in a six months takes away from work for few days. I noticed this cycle for last 3 years which made me to put him as the man at the moment in this blog.
This scenario is not very normal in Indian Subcontinent compared to western countries, but things are changing slowly here too. More and more youngsters are pulling out from the routine and do what they feel like doing. Traveling allows an individual to see the world from the different perspective, learn different cultures, look different customs, taste different food, see different art, so on and so forth. Most of the times, here we will be running behind the life, first schooling, then college, then job, then family, then kids, then financial and social security, then health, then retirement, lastly thinking of a recreation going around places on tours or pilgrimage. In developed countries people do take break from the routine, take an year off from the studies and travel around, one reason may be no burdens of family, social and financial aspects
But now we are living in a century with a strong heading economy where for the first time in history the per capita income has touched the four digit mark $1000. Growing economy is pushing the demand for houses, vehicles, consumable durables, entertainment and tourism. Tourism plays an important role in the economies of the world. It has grown to such an an extent, that now we are talking about space tourism.
More over traveling for an individual allows him or her to see the world from different eyes and help them to develop as a better person. I would like to thank my colleague for sharing few coins for my collection and wish him he sees lot more world and adds lot more collection to me :). And I also wish every one to do what their heart says than living the life of somebody’s dream, not easy but let us give a try …

BELIEF vs TRUST: IN ANY TEAM WINS
Last week it was test of Test matches in world cricket. Two fantastic test matches were played, one on the eastern and another in western hemisphere. Testimony to say that Test matches are neither boring nor reaching its end. These kind of hard fought days will really put back the crowds into the stadiums. Ask any cricketer who had played T20, ODI, their aspirations will be to play Test matches. Great Test match innings will be remembered longer than the other formats..
The match on the eastern hemisphere, one team was playing only to win the match and another one was playing not to loose. Very few teams in the world went on to win the test match after getting bowled out for 120 odd runs and conceding a 200 odd runs lead to the opposition in the first innings. The reason Team A win the match was, it was playing from the winning perspective. Their strength stemmed from the TRUST that they can win the match, where as opposition team played with a BELIEF that they may win the match if everything fall in place. BELIEF may or may not guarantee the success but TRUST will. It was a tight Test match which could had gone either way but one Team won it because they trusted that they could win from any position. This conclusion is very true if we really analyze how things turned out the last day of the match.
As mentioned in the earlier blog great teams pull out the wins from any circumstances. If they see a small ray of window, they will convert that into gateway of success. All three days Team A were down on the mat and in one session when the opposition were playing not to loose, they just pounced and converted into a remarkable victory. This is the hall mark of the great teams and particularly this team is in the process of building after the exit of some great players.
This is what exactly happens in any successful business organizations, teams come out with breakthrough innovations if they trust in their strengths and then put the competitors in disarray.
