Few years back, in my car arm rest(one between two front seats) lost it's connections to the floor and was thrown all over the place right from the luggage space to the cabin space. It was a new sense when ever people get in or get out, as it was a small car it was occupying the space where it should not be. The moment it was out of the floor, my thought was to take it to a near by shop and get it reconnected. I was lazy in doing this and got it procrastinated.
One day when we about to go on a drive, my kid asked me to just look back and see, the arm rest was perfectly sitting in its place and I could place my arm over it. His eyes sparkled and look very proud and as he found a solution to an unattended problem. He just used his common sense to solve and made a perfect (car space) world.
It was a simple thought missed from my side the day it came off, the reason may be I was looking it as a problem not as a solution. Thought process has taken a back seat and dependency has taken the front seat.
